Soft Systems explores textiles as speculative body systems, using soft materials to counter rigid technological structures. Inspired by developments in soft robotics, the work combines corsetry, biomorphic forms, and sculptural construction to propose future objects that function as adaptive extensions of a body in constant transformation. Drawing on organic systems, protective shells, and anatomical architectures, these pieces position textiles as responsive interfaces between softness and structure. Through themes of augmentation and posthuman embodiment, Soft Systems reimagines bodies as engineered and continuously reshaped by the technological, biological and social systems they exists within.
