Future Humans
3D work
Future Humans is an ongoing digital series exploring the uncanny through rendered bodies that appear simultaneously familiar and unsettling. Through speculative character design and digital world-building, the project examines how platform culture, algorithmic systems, and constant self-representation reshape contemporary experiences of identity.
Drawing on ideas of the digital double, the work considers how online personas increasingly exist as parallel versions of the self, blurring the boundaries between lived experience and its mediated representation. The resulting figures occupy an ambiguous space between human and simulation, reflecting a culture in which identity is fragmented across platforms, images, and data traces. Through these uncanny forms, Future Humans explores how technology is transforming not only how we present ourselves, but how we understand what it means to be human.
